The capital of Spain with a truly cosmopolitan atmosphere, also Europe’s highest capital. Located virtually in the centre of Spain, Madrid shares many of the characteristics of other European capitals. Full of upmarket bars, restaurants and shops with many of the countries top companies having their headquarters here. The city is full of culture and you would never get tired wandering the endless streets of shops. Of course you pay a premium for living in the capital, and the price of property and living costs put many people off. However if this doesn’t put you off you can find many apartments in the centre and excellent villas in the city suburbs.
